Engagement Overview

Arganteal is delivering the Salesforce workstream of the SNAP Customer Portal, to federal customer-facing portal.  The engagement runs approximately twelve weeks beginning May 2026 and supports a firm Base Operational Readiness milestone of July 1, 2026 and Full Scope Delivery of August 3, 2026. The build is delivered on Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and integrates with ServiceNow Service Portal and a Microsoft Entra External ID customer tenant.

Role Summary

The Salesforce Solution Architect leads the technical design and delivery of the Salesforce side of SNAP. Responsibilities include authoring the Low Level Design, validating the federation pattern, owning integration contracts, and remaining hands-on keyboard for complex Apex and LWC development through cutover and stabilization. The role reports to the Arganteal engagement lead and coordinates daily with the Project Manager and Tech Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author the Low Level Design covering data model, LWC component breakdown, Apex class design, Flow orchestration patterns, and OIDC token flow diagrams.
  • Validate the federation handshake between Microsoft Entra External ID and Salesforce Identity, in support of the Week 1 Exit Gate.
  • Validate the CUSTOMERSN iframe and frame-ancestors policy and confirm the controlled-embed pattern is feasible as designed.
  • Develop complex Apex including the CUSTOMERSN anonymized session token broker, the entitlement consumption writeback, and the ServiceNow deep link SSO exchange.
  • Configure Salesforce Identity OIDC federation including claims mapping, JIT provisioning, and session lifecycle.
  • Author Salesforce contributions to the SNAP NIST 800-171 inheritance memo and FOCI boundary evidence package.
  • Review and approve all engineer-developed LWC, Apex, and Flow artifacts.
  • Lead production cutover oversight for both the July 1, 2026 Base milestone and the August 3, 2026 Full Scope milestone.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce architecture and development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex, and Salesforce Flow at production scale.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud builds for external customer-facing portals.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Government Cloud Plus or comparable FedRAMP authorized Salesforce deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Identity, OIDC authorization code flow with PKCE, SAML 2.0, and federation to Microsoft Entra (External ID or Azure AD B2C).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ServiceNow via SAML SSO, Connected Apps, and REST callbacks.
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification, or equivalent demonstrable architecture experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience on FOCI-mitigated, ITAR, or NIST 800-171 / CMMC environments.
  • Familiarity with GitLab + SFDX + Copado or Gearset deployment pipelines in regulated environments.
  • Experience with Tenable scanning integrated into CI/CD for Salesforce artifacts.
  • Active or recent federal compliance onboarding (NSA training or equivalent).
